PTFE/Kevlar

This is the highest-temperature non-metal belt available, capable of operating at up to 250 degrees centigrade. (it can also work at very low temperatures, down to -70 degrees centigrade). The Kevlar variant is very similar to the straightforwards PTFE, but is double the strength.

Both types of material come as solid conveyor belts, or as mesh belts. The latter are very popular in situations where the carried produce needs air (or liquid) circulation. A classic example would be for cooling/drying.

The belts can be woven as an endless loop, or fitted with a fastener to allow the loop to be broken and 'opened' for cleaning or maintenance.
